I first found Los Panchos in National City. I worked in the area for years and this was the go to for breakfast burritos (Machaca, Bacon/Sausage) and B*tchin Cali burritos and they did not disappoint. I live in the Mission Valley area and sometimes go to the one off of Waring and it is better than the National City location. My wife and daughters got their nails done next to this location so we decided to try and boy it destroys the other locations. This one is a "cantina" version so it offers different items than the taco shops. I tell you what they serve some beans and chips that are delicious while you wait for your order. Service is always great. I get the Diego burrito mostly and its good at all of their locations but the fish tacos and birria tacos at this location seem to have a different quality. I am a harsh critic of taco shops and this spot has some really good items. I stick to what I like so I haven't tried too many other items. What I don't seem to like from any of their locations is their rolled tacos..seems like ground beef rolled tacos? Diego Burrito-Yes Fish Tacos-Yes Birria Tacos-Yes B*tchin Cali-Yes Sausage Breakfast Burritos-Yes Machaca-Yes Carne Asada-Ehhh with other items in the burrito its ok but by itself lacks seasoning Beef Rolled Tacos-NO!

3-ish stars rounded up. Biggest highlight is the generosity on meat portions. Carnitas meat is flavorful but a little dry. Too much gristle on the cabeza meat. Well-seasoned carne asada and adobada meats but could've been more succulent (doesn't help that the meat is chopped into very tiny, mince-like, pieces). Not the biggest fan of the tacos, particularly the ones in the 3 amigos entree, being drenched in sauce lol too overwhelming for me (I'm more into taco-truck street tacos with a simpler presentation) but I could see the sauciness being an actual plus for some people. Friendly cashier lady. Overall I can see this spot being a go-to one for people living/working nearby here but wouldn't say that it's a must-try.

I'm always a fan of checking out any Mexican restaurant in the San Diego. Was a small restaurant with limited seating but was no problem at lunch. I tried the Bitchin Cali Burrito. Was huge! Came with carne asada and shrimp and a bag of chips. Was excellent. Only recommendation I would have is to label the sauces at the salsa bar.

As usual, I rate baszed on what it's trying to be, not against some objective high, even luxurious, standard... This is your basic Mexican fast casual redstaurant, but the quality over a few visits has been exceptional. A fast one for me this time, just 3 fish street tacos. Freshly crisply fried, with cabbage and white sauce. An extra bonus - they provide a tasty cup of nearly soupy beans for while you're waiting. Much appreciated, along with the very courteous service. Recommended, especially for smething quick.

Kiddo wanted tacos and, after a quick Yelp search, we decided to check this spot out. Quite a few menu items to choose from, which made deciding hard. After we placed our order, they gave us chips and little cups of soup(?) Whatever was in the cups was flavorful. Hubs liked the charred peppers at the salsa bar. Kiddo decided on the carne asada street tacos, which she enjoyed. Hubs ordered the 3 Amigos. He noted the lengua was tender and the meats were flavorful. He said they were filling. I went with the beef rolled tacos. They were topped with lettuce, salsa, and cheese. Quite filling, too.

I swore I already wrote a review about this location but just in case it wasn't saved, here's another one, probably briefer. Love this location. Good is awesome. Not your typical taco shop although they serve all the usual suspects like burritos carne asada chips etc. They also have other options as well. I had the chicken soup once aka caldo de pollo and I was pleased. I was super hungry and didn't think I would get full. I was wrong and was totally stuffed. I shared a Azteca burrito with my wife and that was bomb too. The thing I appreciate is the fresh salsas and other treats they have like frijoles charros on the house! The roasted peppers are the bomb and not too spicy. The carrots and cucumbers are bomb too. I highly recommend this location. I can't speak for the sdsu location. I don't think they have the same owner. The location in Hillcrest is great as well. Check my review for that location.

My boyfriend and I wanted to get some food outside of the Fashion Valley mall as we wanted something small and that we could take out. We found this shop nearby and decided to give it a try! It's located next to CaliTea and Round Table Pizza in this small plaza on the corner of Friars Rd and Via Las Cumbres in Morena(?). There's a small parking lot with ample parking stalls. I could see the lot being filled during rush lunch and dinner hours. The menu was extensive! So many different options to choose from. I ended up choosing their B'ing Cali Burrito which came with carne asada, shrimp, fries, guacamole, and cheese. Sooo much deliciousness in one burrito! It was huge and VERY good. The workers definitely did not skimp out on the ingredients which was amazing. The amount of flavor from the marinated carne asada and sautéed shrimp was incredible. The day we went was also Taco Tuesday on their street tacos! My boyfriend ordered from their Taco Tuesday menu and got the Carne Asada, Carnitas, Birria, and Chicharron. Everything were generously portioned and delicious! My favorites were the carne asada and carnitas of the four. we also added some of their homemade (I believe) sauces that were in their sauce bar and woooow! Very impressed. The sauces they have def gave a great oomph to our foods. I'm so glad we were able to find this shop as my boyfriend and I still remember how amazing the food was. Definitely would love to stop by here again for their Taco Tuesday deal again or if not, try their other selections!
